This notice explains how we handle your personal data on surfing.digital. It follows Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
Who is responsible
Surfing Digital, led by Edwin Moreno Marún, is responsible for your personal data.
What data we collect
Through the form on the /meet page we collect your name (optional) and your email or LinkedIn link.
We also collect what you are building, your main challenge for the next 90 days, what success looks like for you, and your role.
Finally we record the language you used and how you reached the page (the src, ev and ref values in the link).
We do not store your IP address in our database. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs.
Why we use it
Primary purposes: to read your answers, decide whether we can help, and contact you with ideas or follow-up about what you shared.
Secondary purpose: to understand which topics and events bring the most interest, using aggregated counts. If you do not want this, tell us at the email below and we will exclude your answers.
Who processes it
We use service providers that store and process data for us. They may do so outside Mexico. We do not sell your data.
Only Edwin and the people Edwin authorizes can read your answers.
Providers in use
- Vercel: website hosting and traffic counts
- Supabase: database for form answers
How long we keep it
We keep your answers while they are useful for the purposes above, and we delete them when you ask.
Your rights
You can access, rectify, cancel or object to the use of your data (ARCO rights), and you can revoke your consent at any time.
To do so, write to the email below with your name and what you want to do. We will reply within the legal deadline.
Cookies and measurement
The form does not use advertising cookies. We measure visits and clicks with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and never receive your name, email or answers. The site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date above.
